Ethan Hopkins is a unique local musician and producer. He started his career at only fifteen years old and since then has released four studio singles and a music video with over 1500 views. He is commonly known as “The Ukulele Kid” because of the iconic ukulele he carries around. Writing a wholesome blend of pop, folk, and reggae, Ethan entertains crowds ranging from five at a coffee shop to as many as hundreds at festivals.
Melodically, his music is usually straight-forward yet catchy. Described as “broken-down” and relatable. Lyrically, his words are simple yet cryptic at second glance. Ethan Hopkins describes his writing process in an interview as “very detailed oriented, sometimes taking days to months to complete a single song”. Additionally to writing and producing his own music, Ethan writes and produces singles for names like KALI and Lily Malone. EthanHopkinsMusic.com.
