Whether you’re looking for covered wagon rides, Old Time Fiddling History or an up close look at how our countries ancestors traversed the historic trails you’ll find it in one of Adventures West’s three tour options.  Experience Wyoming’s history come to life August 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th or 20th and take home real-life old west memories.  Adventures West is a division of Divine Travels, LCC.

 


Tour 3:
Historic Trails History Tour: 7:30AM-3:30PM

Join our guided tour to see the sights where 19th century American pioneers made a journey of a lifetime across Wyoming. See the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, Journey along the Platte River on historic trails, stop at Independence Rock and visit the Mormon Handcart Center. Tour begins and ends at the Historic Trails Interpretive Center. Deluxe motor coach transportation – Trails Center history escort throughout tour – Large box lunch provided – Many photo opportunities – Beautiful Scenery

Tour 4:
Oregon Trail History with Western Dinner: 5:30PM-8:00PM
*Offering Tours on August 16th and August 17th 2017 

Settle in at the Merchant Ranch along with the Oregon Trail where history comes alive. To date, the migration west is said to be the largest unforced migration of people in the world. Why did they come, what did they face along the trail, what dangers did they face, what did they eat? Presentations will be given in period clothing including butter churning, coffee grinding, and children’s games. A great western meal awaits you before ending the evening. Come join us along the Oregon Trail, Trail Presentations and a Delicious Western Meal!

Tour 5:
Western Brunch at the Ranch: 10:00AM-12:30PM
