Fort Caspar Museum collects, preserves and exhibits materials related to the history of Fort Caspar, City of Casper, Natrona County and Central Wyoming. On the museum grounds is the 1865 fort buildings (Sutler Store, Blacksmith shop, Officer’s Quarters, Stables, Commissary, Barracks, Mess Hall, Telegraph storeroom & office). The buildings are all furnished as they appeared in 1865. Also on grounds are a reproduction of the Mormon Ferry and Guinard Bridge. There is a playground and picnic area on the west side of museum parking lot.
Admission: $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for ages 13-18, free for ages 12 and under.
